Censorship is the prohibition or restriction of expression by the government, usually on political or moral grounds.

It is not actually illegal to possess such works, however — as such, it is possible (albeit difficult) to obtain them within the law. Also, material needs to show a sexual act to be classified as pornography — mere nudity is acceptable, provided the subject is over the age of consent (15).
  • Scwflag Shaelia — the production of any pornographic material is currently illegal. Penalties include large fines and possible jail sentences. Importing of pornographic materials (movies, magazines, etc.) is heavily regulated and taxed, making the sale of such materials costly. Must be 17 or older to purchase or possess pornographic materials or visit online websites that provide pornography. It is illegal to operate a pornographic website in the country.
  • Flag-solelhada Solelhada — in the island provinces and Sa Costa, pornography is illegal, and possession of pornographic works is severely punished.
  • StSamuelFlag St. Samuel — Pornography is heavily restricted and must abide by government guidelines.

  • Utania Utania — some parts of the country have virtually outlawed pornography, while others either merely restrict it, or have no policy. Particularly extreme forms are illegal everywhere.
  • XochimechatlFlag Xochimechatl — different jurisdictions have different laws. Almost all have some degree of restriction, but the severity varies considerably. In areas outside the reach of conventional law, where the Order of Calacoayan has effective jurisdiction, pornography is freely tolerated unless it involves minors.
