The Royal Samuelonian Department of Incaseration, commonly referred to as (RSDI), is the government agency responsible for incarceration of convicted felons in the United Federal Kingdom of St. Samuel. The RSDI is responsible for 197 prisons, with a prison population of 93,264.
Level 1 PrisonEdit
Level 1 Prisons are tasked with the imprisonment of prisoners whose escape would be highly dangerous to the public or national security. Any felon found guilty of an offence punishable by death (Murder, rape and serious repeat offenders) will be housed in a Level 1 prison. Level 1 Prisons ar renowned for there tough regime, with detainees stripped of all liberties. Prisoners receive minimal food and every day comforts and are kept in cells 24 hours a day.
Level 2 PrisonEdit
Level 2 Prisons are tasked with imprisonment of repeat offenders and those serving long sentences. Level 2 detainees are tasked with hard labour for up to 20 hours a day.
Level 3 PrisonEdit
Level 3 Prisons receive detainees who are first time offenders and are found guilty of low-scale crimes. The purpose of Level 3 Prisons is to re-educate detainees, through labour and education.
The RSDI is linked to the the Royal Samuelonian Army and police forces. Prison guards are known as Royal Prison Guards and are armed with guns, stun-batons and tasers.
