Sunnyah Mounism is the largest denomination of Mounism in St. Samuel. The word Sunnyah comes from the word Sunnah (Arabic : سنة ), which means the words and actions.

History[]

Beliefs[]

Sunnyah Mounists believe that God revealed the way's of Mounism to Omar, God's final prophet, and regard the The Holy Book of Allah and the Sunnah (words and deeds of Omar) as the fundamental sources of Mounism. They do not regard Omar as the founder of a new religion, but as the restorer of the original monotheistic faith of other prophets.

The Prophet Omar[]

Omar al-Qurashi (c. 1730BP – July 6, 1668BP) was a Samuelonian religious, political, and military leader who founded the religion of Mounism as a historical phenomenon in St. Samuel. Mounists view him not as the creator of a new religion, but as the restorer of the original, uncorrupted monotheistic faith. In Mounism tradition, Omar is viewed as the last and the greatest in a series of prophets, as the man closest to perfection, the possessor of all virtues. For the last 23 years of his life, beginning at age 40, Omar reported receiving revelations from God. The content of these revelations, was memorized and recorded by his companions in the Holy Book of Allah.

Holy Sites[]

Al-Masjid al-Ḥarām (المسجد الحرام "The Sacred Mosque"), is a large mosque in the city of Hatta, and the largest in Sunnyah Mounism. It surrounds the Kaaba, the place which all Sunnyah Mounists turn towards each day in prayer, considered by Sunnyah Mounists to be the holiest place on Vexillium.
