Talmont is a township in the barony of Francisco, within the province of High Samuelonia, on the west coast of Samuelonia. Talmont has a population of 86,000 and is a popular tourist retreat due to it's close proximity to Francisco.
At around 1000 BP, Talmontia was a thriving fishing village, with fishermen transporting there fish to the markets of Francisco.
In 860 BP, the growing coastal town was given to Sir Elgan, the cousin of King Arwyn I of Samuelonia. Sir Elgan was given funds from the royal treasury to build a wall and castle, which was later to become known as Castle Elgan de Talmont.
