Tom Younger (born 2 September 270AP) is an Eastern Zartanian race car driver in the RZOEAZ. He currently drives the No. 26 Eras Telecom/Posadas Veron for Rusch Racing. He resides in his hometown of Mevine, Karsatra, Eastern Zartania. He is married to his wife, Dorla, and they have four children. Younger is the nephew of the current Count of Mevine.
The 315AP season was the worst of Younger's tenure with Robert Ycks Racing. Since joining the organization in 305AP, he had never finished worse then 20th in points. This year, however, he wallowed in the rear of the field, finishing 30th or worse in 12 of the 35 races he participated in. And though he made the Chase for the Crown Cup for the second year in a row, he was overshadowed by teammate Sarah Jakqmun, ultimately finishing 39th in points. Despite having signed a two-year contract extension at the end of 314AP, some wondered if the poor performance of 315AP would lead the team to attempt to trade him to another Veron team for 316AP, bringing in fresh talent for the No. 88 to pair with a resurgent Jakqmun.
As the start of the new season approached, Younger's contract was sold to Rusch Racing for an undisclosed amount. Younger moved into the No. 26 Veron vacated by the retirement of Everett Engle. After a lackluster start to the season, Younger repaid his new team by winning the Angliyaa 400 in early June on a fuel mileage strategy.
